Salut, je suis Tamara Pešić et je viens de Serbie. Je suis née en 1988. J'ai été diplômée de la Faculté d'Arts Appliqués de Belgrade en 2007. J'aime travailler la gravure sur linoléum, avec de la gouache et de l'encre, afin de créer des œuvres qui ont une âme. Durant mes études, j'avais comme matières la calligraphie et la typographie, c'est ainsi que j'ai commencé l'exploration de ce champs. Maintenant toute ma vie tourne autour de la typographie. D'une part, j'aime explorer la grande variété d'approches et de formes de lettres, en particulier les lettrages élégants et expressifs. D'autre part, je suis également intéressée par la conception des fontes, même si certains peuvent considérer ce travail comme moins intéressant. Pour moi, chaque typothèque offre une même liberté d'expression et chaque détail de lettre peut signifier beaucoup pour l'aspect global de la police. Quand il s'agit de ce sujet, je tiens à citer Matthew Carter «Une police de caractère est un beau groupe de lettres, pas un groupe de belles lettres».
Je travaille actuellement en tant que directrice artistique de la firme de cosmétique Aura à Niš.

Now my whole life revolves around typography. On one hand, I like to explore the wide variety of approaches and forms of letters, especially the elegant and expressive lettering. On the other hand, I am also interested in designing fonts, although some may consider this work as less interesting. For me, every type library provides the same freedom of expression and every detail of letter can mean a lot to the overall look of the police. When it comes to this subject, I want to quote Matthew Carter "A font is a beautiful group of letters, not a group of beautiful letters."
